Upcycling – Turning the Old into Something New
Sustainability isn’t just about making better choices, it’s about rethinking waste and giving materials a new life. At Creon, we’ve taken upcycling to the next level, transforming discarded workwear and event materials into unique, high-quality products that extend the lifecycle of branded items while reducing waste.
For Atlas Copco, we repurpose old workwear into one-of-a-kind shopping and laptop bags, giving fabrics that have already served their purpose a second life. Sold in the Profile Store, these upcycled products help reduce environmental waste and CO₂ emissions, all while telling a powerful sustainability story that employees and customers can carry with them every day.
Upcycling old Atlas Copco jackets and overalls resulted in 692 laptop bags and tote bags

For Epiroc, we took sustainability a step further by transforming their multi-story event tent from Bauma, one of the world’s largest trade fairs, into a new generation of backpacks and keychains. Rather than letting high-quality materials go to waste, we gave them a second purpose, making sure that a tent once used to showcase innovation now lives on as a practical, everyday product available in the Profile Store.
Beyond reducing waste, our upcycling initiative is about making a real impact. By partnering with socially responsible manufacturers, we ensure that every upcycled item supports both environmental sustainability and individuals in need of work opportunities.
This is branding with purpose. This is upcycling, the Creon way.
